SmallRig Cage for DJI Osmo Action 6 5888 is designed specifically for DJI Osmo Action 6. This full-cover metal cage provides robust impact protection while ensuring unobstructed access to all buttons and ports. Multiple expansion interfaces enable seamless accessory attachment, enhancing shooting efficiency.
The cage features a cold shoe mount for attaching lights or audio accessories, such as DJI Mic 2 or SmallRig Video Light (ID 5446). Additionally, it features magnetic quick release mounts on the side, compatible with DJI’s original Dual-Direction Quick-Release Adapter Mount. The open-base design allows direct access to the camera’s magnetic quick-release mount, enabling rapid horizontal and vertical shooting transitions when paired with SmallRig’s Dual-Mount Quick Release Supports (5890, 5779, 5918).
The battery compartment can be accessed directly from the side without removing the cage, enabling effortless battery replacement. Additionally, a side strap hole allows users to attach the included wrist strap for added security during handheld use.
The detachable quick release mount (removable with the included Allen wrench) preserves full functionality after detachment while enabling direct mounting to the camera’s magnetic quick-release system.
For DJI Osmo Action 6, we also offer accessories such as Advanced Cage (ID 5887), Filters (ID 5895, 5896) and Screen Protector (ID 5892).
Note:
1. This product's magnetic interface is only compatible with the DJI Osmo dual-direction quick-release interface (new standard, same as the host device). It is not compatible with the previous-generation 'Osmo Action Quick Release Adapter Mount' (the magnetic base for the Osmo Action 5 Pro).
2. It is not recommended to directly attach the magnetic interface of the cage to other flat/irregular surfaces due to the risk of detachment. If necessary, please use it with Dual-Mount Support for DJI Action Cameras, such as models 5890, 5779 and 5918.
